One of the newest up-and-coming names in the entertainment industry, Topgolf, has made Overland Park home for its most recent location. With something to offer everyone, Topgolf is more than a state-of-the-art driving range, and we were happy to be part of it.

The building’s massive entrance welcomes visitors with handcrafted, one-of-a-kind concrete steps with a seamless quartz epoxy coating created by yours truly. Hardwearing, slip- and UV-resistant, this was a perfect choice for an outdoor application given Kansas City’s extreme weather.

We also made our mark on the interior (specifically in the back of the house) with cementitious urethane flooring. This is a great option for high-abuse areas like kitchens, bars, and maintenance areas. Visitors may never see these floors, but because they’re low maintenance, they free Topgolf employees up to spend more time with their customers.

We also treated the concrete floor on Topgolf’s new 2,900 square-foot rooftop terrace with a fast-drying and fade-resistant spray system that gave it a colorful acid-stained appearance.

Sometimes a business needs multiple solutions. With Topgolf it was necessary to look at the project holistically and customize a solution based on function. They now have durability in food service areas, slip-resistant entry for outside entry and an easy-to-maintain surface for entertaining areas.
